La Casa del Mar (hoster of Scuba Puerto Rico) was founded in 1999. We started offering services to the guests of the luxurious El Conquistador Resort & Country Club, but soon, our excellent service, our magnificent dive boats and our professionalism led us to be the preferred dive center for the majority of hotels on the island and almost every dive shop in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

We bought our first dive Boat in 2000, a Newton 46’, and two years later we got our second Newton 46’. Nowadays, we are proud to have a fleet of 4 boats with every one of them with a dedicated crew offering the best experience possible while onboard while visiting the Fajardo coral reefs, Diablo, Palominito, Culebra, Culebrita, Vieques, St. Thomas and St John. Our service was and still is first class service: towels, fresh fruit, chips, and mango salsa, refreshments, water, sodas and beer (after the last dive ). 
In 2005, we started offering luxury charters in Puerto Rico to the Spanish Virgin Islands right just around the corner from our marina. At that point, we decided to take people beyond expectations....and when you charter one of our private yachts for just cruising and/or snorkeling around the islands or combined with scuba diving in Puerto Rico , we are sure you will come back!
